Alpha Hydrovac is a family-owned hydrovac company offering comprehensive, union-operated hydrovac services throughout Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. Known as "hydrovac," hydro excavation is a cutting-edge technique that utilizes precise water pressure and vacuum technology to safely and efficiently expose underground utilities, eliminating the risks commonly associated with mechanical or hand digging.

With state-of-the-art equipment, our highly trained experts in underground utility excavation bring a deep understanding and expertise to every project. By choosing Alpha Hydrovac, you are selecting a local, woman-owned family business that embodies honesty, determination, and grit.

Alpha Hydrovac, a proud family-owned hydrovac company, was founded with a clear purpose: to build a business that values people just as much as performance. After years of working with other hydrovac services, we noticed a growing gap—companies that overlooked customer appreciation, undervalued their employees, and missed opportunities to create a culture built on integrity. As a husband-and-wife team, we recognized there was a better way to serve our community and clients.

We set out to establish a company where employees are encouraged to grow, supported in their daily work, and proud to share where they work. Since day one, our mission has been to create a workplace worth bragging about—one defined by respect, opportunity, and genuine appreciation.

At the heart of Alpha Hydrovac is our commitment to Christ-centered honesty. This foundation guides how we treat our team, serve our customers, and engage with our community. Our vision extends beyond business; we aim to bless those around us, whether they are part of our crew, our clients, or individuals in need who may never interact with the hydrovac and underground utility excavation industry.

As we grow, so does our responsibility to improve the hydrovac and safe-digging landscape. We are actively involved with the Common Ground Alliance and legislative initiatives that protect excavators, underground utilities, and the general public. Through leadership, education, and advocacy, we strive to help revolutionize industry standards for safety and precision.

Alpha Hydrovac’s story is just beginning, but our foundation is strong: people first, integrity always, and a commitment to making a difference—on the job and in the world around us.

As a family-owned hydrovac business with over 50 years of experience, we bring our clients the best practices that drive success. The three key elements we teach our children at home are the same three steps that guide our clients in achieving their goals with our hydrovac services: Show Up. Listen. Work Hard. These principles also apply to our expertise in underground utility excavation, ensuring we deliver the best results every time.
